An Odd Morning

Bob waked like in any other morning....he moved with his routine like always...unknowing that this morning was different...the bird of the Old Willow at his house's front was not singing. Why? Why was it not singing? Why was it not singing like he always did?
It was a strange morning indeed, and Bob didn't even notice it.....the most simple and precious of details...the Bird had not sung...the Old Willow watched as Bob went away by the road...untouched by the absence of music...
The Bird had not sung...the bird had not sung this morning...and there was nothing the Old Willow could do about it...what a morning.....what a sad morning it was....

Sacred Rescue

....a mere shadow of his former self.
....lost in all imaginable ways.

Not a shining star anymore....not the Bringer of Light, not in his nor in anybody's eyes...
Everything had eroded, the world had changed him....he lost his innocence, his honor, his pride, his will, his power. He had lost the smells, colors, feelings, thoughts, sounds and his voice. He was a void, his surroundings were beyond life and death...they were beyond Being...he was lost in a vortex of nothing...
...
Like a drop of light falling in the darkness he felt something....a tickle in his hands that awakened his senses...he slowly regained movement, first of his hands. His darkened eyes regained their bright color, he opened them but was blinded by a shining light. The first tickle became stronger, and he felt something touching his dead skin....and as this touch spread life returned to his parts. That touch....he knew that touch...it was familiar at the same time that it was entirely new...it was soft and tender, deep with feeling and caring...his heart was rushing as he regained life by that sacred touch. It had reached almost all of his body, then it suddenly stopped...once again he tried to open his eyes....fighting the light he could see a silhouette getting closer...the image was getting clearer...they ware face to face...it was Her...the sands of time interrupted their flow. Mouths touched...their souls mixed through the breath of life...the two became one during this instant of eternity...

He regained his light...
He was Lucifer again...
The darkness gave way to their light.

Eternal Past

...and then He saw It...a remnant of an old world. It was the first time in his existence that He wanted to be able to cry....and what a new feeling it was! As He walked, It followed him...faster and faster He walked, trying to escape from It. But fate's design made so that It followed Him...and followed...and followed...
He couldn't stand it...it was too much of a torment...That was when He made what he did best...he smashed It... and the sound of the blow stunned Him.
He turned his metal face to the other side...unable to look at what He did. Days passed without Him moving...then weeks...months....his flesh of steel all covered in dust and ashes...Time lost itself on the silence of the wastes, both His and the world's...
When He finally turned, He saw It laying destroyed on the ground...He kept looking at It, time passing by...it felt like uncountable aeons of desolation and nothingness, him and himself, alone but for the destruction of his doing. Even in the ground...in tatters...It kept smiling...an eternal remembrance stamped in the wastes' ground....never to leave His sight, ever tormenting his mind.
